Of course not. If you're a jerk.

I'd rather have an ******* with good policies than a department store mannequin who rubber stamps down party lines. Not that Trump has good policies, but theoretically speaking.

I suggest you ask the person who wrote the article that Chula took that from cause I doubt he knows.

Chula points out so often how Hillary won the popular vote. Chances are that every racist bigoted asshole that Trump "empowers" there are 2-3 SJW to counteract them.

I'm not sure where you saw that statement. I skimmed the thirteen or so pages, so if I missed it, I missed it, but where is it conclusively stated that there is no evidence the Russian Government attempted to/did tamper in the election?

Outside of the obvious bad omen of foreign, malign influence in the US election, I don't think the actions of these hackers had much appreciable effect. The 'fake news' is what really killed discourse here. False statements about Benghazi, false statements about the contents of John Podesta's email, false stories about Hillary being complicit in the "murder" of Vince Foster.

Look, the election is over. Donald Trump won according to the system that we have in place. I don't know why it's so important to you and others in this thread to try and convince people that all the things that were said and done weren't said and done. He bragged about using his fame to force himself on women. He used the power of the bully pulpit to belittle the press, openly question America's obligations to treatied allies, and yes, use a reporter's handicap as a prop in insulting him. If the reporter had a thick Nigerian accent and Trump copied that while saying 'I don't remember', would that be ok? What if they were Japanese and he used his fingers to give himself 'asian eyes' while insulting the reporter? Is that also something we should get over? His choice to mimic spasms gives you insight into the way he sees the world, where appearance is as important as ideas. Might be true in business (although his track record is quite spotty), but certainly doesn't work with policy. Not that he's demonstrated much interest in actual governing

The President is essentially Diplomat-in-Chief. We have a Secretary of State because POTUS is needed to fill other roles, but first and foremost he's a statesman, the embodiment of the American people, our spirit, and our values. The people can act spiteful and mean-spirited and churlish all they want. But the President shouldn't. Beyond decorum, beyond tradition, it's just what's right. Instead we have a man bogged down by his ego, given to petty insults, and ad hominem attacks.

My other arguments seem to have been ignored here. Not sure if it's because no one has any counters they'd like to offer or if it's more fun just to shout at how the other person is a fascist or a cuck. Idk.

In reality, it's true. Not that I agree with the idea, but I'd be a fool to deny it's part of American culture (possibly even human nature??). For less offensive examples, you can look at our desire for symmetry, effects of color, etc..
