Cabinet or Cult ?
Quote:
This is demonstrably untrue, just like his cr*p about the sun shining over his inauguration crowds. As CNN point out:- Quote:
Maybe it's the creepy use of the word "blessing" that really raises a red flag for me. Here we have the U.S. cabinet prepared to ignore unassailable evidence and to sacrifice their individual political credibility in order to publicly declare their loyalty to a proven liar suspected of obstruction of justice. It's a horrible abnegation of intellectual independence that makes me think of those Branch Davidians or some other cult, in which adults who should know better are in thrall to some "charismatic" leader. Another sinister, cultish element is the dynamics of the interactions; there's no cabinet member-to-cabinet member chat, it's all "Me to my leader, Me to my leader." Really, one of the most disgusting political performances I've ever seen. __________________________________________________ ________ Quote:

You two are the definition of what's wrong with American political discourse.
One eager to believe and spread any story about those whose political views he despises, the other reflexively sarcastic and quick to point to the opposition's use of vile political tricks as cover for his own team's deplorable behavior. It's like Tom and Jerry, but no one laughs, both animals die for want of medical care, and Mammy Two Shoes burns the house down.

It's June 13th, 2017. Donald Trump is currently president. This thread is titled "What Did President Trump Do Now?".
Bringing up past administrations serves absolutely zero service to the subject of the thread other than to try and dismiss people answering the question posed in the OP. Trump's presidency has been "interesting" so far to say the least. He's got the lowest approval rating of any president at the same point in their term. So the question the OP posed is revelent. Ant's only purpose posting in this thread is basically to say "I know he did but what about Obama/Clinton?" It's June 13th, 2017. Donald Trump is currently president. This thread is titled "What Did President Trump Do Now?".
