The president can't fire someone to thwart an investigation into himself. That's called obstruction of justice and impeding a federal investigation and those are serious felonies.

It's was also a crime to try to interfere with the investigation into Flynn.

There's probably a dead Israeli field agent due to his ignorant braggart blabber mouth. That's impeachable and puts America at risk for terrorism now that it's proven our head of state can't be trusted with foreign intelligence.

He also obviously has some kind of deal going on with Russia. He's indebted to them for providing currency to him and his family while his company was cash poor. Plus, he encouraged them to release Hillary's email which is inviting a hostile foreign power to manipulate our democratic process and that's treason, I think it's still punishable by death. He might get impeached or he might simply get arrested.

Hell, even profiting off of his foreign investments while president is illegal. That his criminal behavior has thus far been ignored doesn't mean it his ass isn't grass any day now.

Impeding by definition is to delay or prevent.. If Comey's firing did not do either of those youre going to have to find another verb that's incriminating. Obstruct might work? Possibly? Idk, considering how high profile the case is I think they will need a stronger offense than "obstruction of justice" for impeachment.

For now, yes. However if there is a turnaround in congress (which I agree with most people that it's likely) in the next election, it'll get a lot easier.
