Contrarianism=/=neutrality

Also for someone so enlightened you sure do rely on straw man arguments a lot.
Being contrarian in a thread like this is the only thing that gives this thread anything resembling balance. I'm in opposition to a stupid point of view like "Trump is the big bad Demon Lord and if we just kill him we win the game and all of our problems will magically go away", which is what Chula and others seem to subscribe to. If you don't see that then that speaks more to your particular set of biases than mine.

Not classified + Pivate Citizen = No problem. The narrative you are clinging to has already been dropped except by Trump dick suckers like Hannity and Jeffery Lord.

It's like you have an anti-Trump gag reflex. And as soon as you gag you grasp at any straw available to deflect the narrative away from the guy.

Oh, and Jeff Sessions today:

Well that was odd.

Oh, and Jeff Sessions today:

Like I said, it has nothing to do with the information being classified or not. Just because you can't comprehend basic legal concepts (or choose to ignore half my post) doesn't mean you have to be an ass about it.

Just because he's in an executive position doesn't change the basic makeup of a person
I'd say it's likely to make a bad man worse.

Comey is in no trouble whatsover becasue of this. BTW, the word "leak" is not a legal term.
Do you really believe that justice and the rule of law are still realities an innocent man has in his favor? Comey might go to jail. Trump might become the most powerful dictator ever. We don't know where this is going.

Check out my edit to my original post. Comey is fine. He's been earning respect in Washington for decades. No politician who wants to keep his job is going to vote to jail him. There's literally hundreds of people willing to testify in a positive way on his behalf.

CNN interviewed a bunch of Trump voters right after his testimony and all of them but one said they fully trusted Comey as a man of integrity.

Meanwhile, Trump's approval ratings continue to dip to record lows.

I hope you're right but things have been topsy turvy for so damn long. I'll believe it when Trump's corpse is slumped in an electric chair.

I think the most startling things from today's testimony is Sessions first admitting that he agreed with most of the intelligent agencies that Russia was trying to hack the 2016 election. And then he went on to say he didn't receive any briefings, he didn't request any of his staff to look into it. He made no public statements about it.

Yes, he recused himself from the Trump/Russian collusion investigation. But he's the goddamn Attorney General of the United States. He should have stayed involved with the basic election issue in regards to Russia. He shrugged it off like it was a bothersome mosquito today. That, along with his memory "issues" makes him unfit for the job. Can we at least agree on that?
