How do we know the shop owners weren't Muslim?

The year 2001 is interesting on two points:

1) The spike in anti-Islam hate crimes—more than triple the number in any other year. Even when the increased number of general hate crimes is taken into account, that's a significant blip.

2) The 9/11 attacks aren't considered to be "U.S. Hate Crimes Based on Religious Identity of Victim." You could make a good case either for or against including them.

Well it's nice to see anti-semitic hate crimes are on the decline.

If they were, I am sure the article would have pointed that out.

They were Indian not Arab like he thought.

It also said he made the assumption they were Muslim. They would not have included that if the owner WAS Muslim.

House Intelligence Comittee demands evidence of Trump's wiretapping claims by Monday. If he comes up with nothing, how will his base react?

1. Simply ignore it?
2. Cry foul against the House?
3. Blame the media?
