https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United..._Border_Patrol You see them all over the place here in San Diego. For every one cop, I'll see a dozen border patrol agents. People really need to take some time and study the actual border. 95% of it is in the middle of nowhere through desert, mountains, rivers, and complete wasteland.

I'm not supporting him. I'm not saying it wasn't distasteful. I'm saying "improving" our borders to reduce illegal immigration is not racist. I already admitted I'm not sure how much of a problem illegal immigration creates, but the common consensus is that it is a problem, so he took that ideology and built a campaign around it. There is nothing inherently racist about that, regardless if he is a racist, the policy addresses problems with immigration. |

Yeh and? You're still addressing Trump. For the last time, I don't care about Trump. I care about policy. Show me how bolstering a preexisting structure, that no one ever thought about before the Trump campaign, is racist.

It's a good use of money to people that think immigration is a problem. People that think illegal immigrants are taking jobs, not paying taxes, receiving more benefits, etc. I'm not gonna argue this because it's a fickle situation and I don't know a god damn thing about the economic impact of illegal immigration or the cost of stricter border control.

Ya, I gotta ask too DWV. Are you simply acting obtuse just to further the conversation?

You guys are so hell bent on smearing shit on everything Trump that you can't objectively distinguish between policy and character.
Can you point to one example in his entire campaign when he called out legal immigration from Mexico? Give me one example, and I'll stfu. |

The policy is not racist. It appeals to racists, yes, but it also appeals to people that think illegal immigration is an economic burden. Which is where the initial support comes from. Racists support freedom of speech so they can say what ever racist crap they want. Does that mean everybody that supports freedom of speech is a racist? No.

For all extensive purposes, every time Trump brought up THE WALL he may have just as well waved a conferderate flag. It was 100% symbolizem from day one. He used it as a totem to galvanize a portion of white America who are pissed off that they are becomming less and less of a majority voice in the country.

Still attacking Trump.. I'll just keep asking the same question until you admit you don't have an example or come up with another way to show me how the policy/idea(whatever you want to call it) is racist. People have a right to be upset about and criticize illegal immigration without spreading racist ideology.
