There's definitely an element to the right that is counter-culture. It goes against their typical education and the media bias as a whole. But I don't really consider it to be "punk", even when you consider the anti-government principles.

To be fair, my original post was built on the idea that I think most conservatives don't always feel the need to make themselves into a victim but if you say that's not the reality I'll accept it.
