Donald Trump is on the record has having done: insert laundry list here. Barack Obama is a black guy with an Arab-sounding middle name. And unlike the 'birther' claims, there are legitimate links between Trump and Russia. There is no Paul Manafort equivalent for Obama. Much like there is no 'Judge Curiel can't do his job effectively because he's Mexican', 'my political opponent will be in jail once I'm elected', 'Khan's wife couldn't speak in public because she's Muslim', etc. etc. equivalent. 'Yellowatergate' or whatever it's being called, yeah, that's likely nonsense. But it would be acting par for the course if they didn't let that go the entirety of the 4-8 years of Trump's administration. I don't think they should, but the hypocrisy goes both ways here. Probably a bit more toward the Right.

Trump’s EPA pick blends conservative Christianity with anti-environmental activism: Unlike Christians who believe in ‘creation care,’ Scott Pruitt’s record suggests he believes that God would never allow climate change to happen.
Interesting note is that Scott Pruitt has sued the EPA 8 times in the past. And Trump just announced $800 billion in cuts at the EPA aimed at removing regulations on coal, oil, and gas emissions. He also wants to gut funds that go towards wildlife and environmental protections. And he's banned all current employees of the EPA from using any forms of social media to discuss the matter. I'm thinking scorched earth once Trump and his boy's are through with things.

Someone should tell Trump that sustainable energy has the potential to create more jobs (and longer lasting ones) than "clean coal".

But he had a vocal and sensible understanding of Islam that Republicans could have used to justify themselves. You guys got any more of these?

Protecting coal workers' jobs was a massive part of his campaign.

Mr. Snark is back again. It's a ****ing debate between adults. No need to interject your pompous snark. But fire away Mr. Snark.

Ja ja ja I know I'm a terrible person it's been said over and over. Also you owe me a new irony meter for breaking it after not meaningfully contributing to this discussion with that post.

I'll ask again. How do you know that, as you said, "Obama had nothing to do with Islam" You made the claim. I'm just asking how do you know.
