I'm ****in' jealous. Christmas is nothing without decorations. No atmosphere otherwise. Even just a Christmas tree in the living room brings a little bit of magic into your home.

Oh, and cause I have to...

Come on guys, let's not forget the true meaning of Christmas: the birth of Santa Claus!

Two things that bug the hell out of me: people saying "Happy Holidays". WTF? It's Christmas dude! Nobody says "Happy Holidays" about Thanksgiving or Easter, do they? Why can't people just say "Happy/Merry Christmas"???

Also, "this holiday season"...? **** right off pal!

and now...

Not everyone is a God fearing Christian like you, TH. That's why.

I tend to stick with "Merry Christmas and God is dead!"

I don't fear God. He fears me. (Trollheart ducks; thunderbolt hits Frown instead, who was too busy working out how to use the sound in his music)

No but it should be this way: if you're a muslim you celebrate the Haj or Ramadan or whatever, if you're not you don't. If Christians or others suddenly decided to celebrate it do you think they'd change the name of the festival? So I'm not saying only Christians can celebrate Christmas, but if non-Christians like me do, then they should accept that it is a Christian festival and does not need to be blurred into "happy ****ing holidays". After all, if you're uncomfortable with Christmas, Xmas does just as well. I just don't see why of all the religious celebrations it's the only one that has to be tippy-toed about in this annoyingly PC-let's-not-offend-anyone way. It's annoying. If you don't want to celebrate Christmas, don't. If you do, call it what it ****ing is!
Rant over.
For now.

It's a stupid ass issue to be upset about. Someone is wishing you a nice day, sit the **** down and don't worry about the specific nomenclature they use. You do realize that there's more than just Christmas going on right now, right? I don't even think it's a "PC issue," it's just a change on common language to adapt to the world which is becoming markedly less Christian than it used to be.

If you grew up hearing Happy Holidays, you would give absolutely zero ****s about it.

Happy holidays is a synonym for "I spit it Christmas's face."

Seriously though, there are more people telling you not to say Happy Holidays (like, twenty five) than there are people telling you not to say Merry Christmas (bloody zero). Maybe this is a PC issue, just not in the way that TH meant.

I recently saw a commercial that said both and I wanted to high five their marketing team.

As far as I can tell Christians are mad at Walmart and that's pretty much the whole issue.
