Also I don't care enough about issues such as abortion to side with somebody based on it. Any policy is fine by me if I agree with important stuff.

Well of course. If the pregnancy is far enough along that it's basically killing a newborn, then I agree it should be restricted. But if it had just happened and the woman knows about it, by all means get rid of it
