Or, as rational people put it: several different photos of the same thing made into one to get the clearest image possible. Nobody is requiring you to believe it.
What's the benefit of scientists hiding the fact that the earth is flat?

on second thought trollheart, and i'm not trying to be evasive here at all, but i'm pretty sure i've covered everything you asked about other than what the definition of a fallacy of composition is. that can be looked up easily.

I'm outside so no copouts now. Who benefits from maintaining the globe theory and how?

This thread has been redundant since the 1600s. Link me to the post or quote it, I missed it.

and honestly man, i have several people on my facebook who have phds in things ranging from psychology to supramolecular chemistry to biology to law. no astrophysicists, but no shortage of seriously intelligent people. i took this debate to facebook in hopes some of them would chime in. they did, and your way of arguing is indeed annoying, childish and weak in comparison to theirs. jansz, bang on. you, no. i'm still lost on all the characteristics of a troll, but that's the feeling i get from you. so i'm just going to ignore you from now on. learning how to take part in this argument takes time, and you're not willing to sacrifice that in any productive or meaningful way. you just quip and jab and restate and it's boring and futile and kind of stupid. and yeah yeah yeah... how can a flat earther call someone stupid, they say. heard it. bored.
