personally, i'm not happy with the answer on the second one. gravity cannot be proven to exist. it is accepted as fact, which is very different from being fact. the reason we need gravity is so we don't fall off the ball. to a flat earther, this translates to "we need an imaginary force to describe the utterly anomalous ball-earth characteristics such as curved water and a gas existing next to a vacuum." obviously, i asked this question to say this. there is no other example of gasses existing next to vacuums that we can test. we rely on the space program for this knowledge.
Screw your third question. I'm answering this. Gravity does exist. I can prove it without going into space or talking about vaccuums.

And yet gravity exists and has been widely recognized as factual for thousands of years.

What is the nature of the nuclear force that binds protons and neutrons into stable nuclei and rare isotopes? No-one has been able to prove this but yet it exists and you and I are proof of that.

As Frowny asked, what are your FACTS to support a flat earth. I don't wanna hear you doubt facts about a round earth. I want to hear your FACTS to support YOUR claim.

they say center of the earth, but effectively it means "square to level".

yes. and i'll tell you why. there are two reasons.

one is that i've done this before. i have about 500 facebook friends, and i posted publicly on there about this for about 3 or 4 months. the flat earth theory challenges everything we think we know about the universe. it takes a seriously open mind to swallow the evidence. i'm just trying to take my time so people can potentially process it i guess.

the second reason is that opening my own mind to this possibility was largely due to several catalyzing flaws in the globe model. paraphrased, pointing out the lack of evidence for a globe may point one in the direction toward seeing that it is, in all likelihood, flat.

Born in 1960. I was studying basic astronomy, physics, and our solar system long before you were born.

Did you know that Galileo was convicted of heresy for backing the position of Copernicus, and was sentenced to house arrest for the rest of his life.
