They clearly aren't.
Some of the world's foremost youtube geniuses see right through the ruse.

i'm just gonna let you two resolve this one. i'm with aloysius, but if janszoon can prove us wrong, i'm all ears. it shouldn't take more than a photograph to do so, and if everyone who has looked at the ocean from the shore has seen it, it should be fairly easy to get one.

though i don't know if i believe AU could be seen from US, due to atmospheric stuff and the fact that things get smaller the farther away from them the observer gets.

due to the fact that i know with absolute certainty that the curvature of the alleged ball earth can't be seen from the surface of itself, i'll pose the next question.

can a situation or experiment be cited as evidence that an enclosed system of gases can exist within a vacuous surrounding without a barrier or seal?

Go outside. What keeps you from floating off into space? Gravity. The same thing that keeps our atmosphere enclosed around the planet.

He's asking for scientific evidence that gravity is strong enough to do that, not just stating that gravity can.

It is easy, yet it's still not worth the effort.
