I'm with DJ on this one, although I try to differentiate since bigot covers more things than just racism.

Idunno, it's kind of a standard change in colloquial use as far as I can tell. All racists are bigots but not all bigots are racist.

It's a lazy argument is what it is. I said to provide proof he was racist, when DJ couldn't find sufficient proof, he decided Trump was a bigot instead and that was enough to make him racist.

It's a blanket term as far as I'm concerned. It's the easiest way to describe someone that has more problems than just racism, though it's a fair term to use when describing something specific.
