Luckily, with you living next door to her now and you both having issues with your spouse, that's kind of a realistic possibility this year.

Hillary wins, out in 4 years, you get Marco Rubio or Scott Walker for 8, unless she can get economic growth consistently above 3% per gdp year.
Trump wins, the Republican Party shifts to the left and he's most likely out in 4. ...I admit that it's a risk, but take in mind were dealing with the two most unpopular electoral candidates in history. |
