^I wasn't being sarcastic. I actually completely agree with you, and this is coming from someone that doesn't want either in office.

I can agree with that to, my candidate went down in the primaries.

.

I'm still holding hope for Gary Johnson, but I haven't heard much more about that.

I'm still holding hope for Hannah Harper to ring me up and beg me to spend a couple of hours with her in a hotel room.

Luckily, with you living next door to her now and you both having issues with your spouse, that's kind of a realistic possibility this year.

(I'm not having issues with my spouse.)

It's the medication......

A friend of mine made a great post about the election just now:

Quote:

I won't argue that the system has issues, or is at least in need of a tune-up. But its still the best system on earth. America already is great, even if its not perfect. But the unfortunate reality is that someone has to be elected. And to that end, we need to decide who will be the most effective. For 30 something years, Hillary has accomplished quite a few positives in public service. No she isn't perfect, (is anybody?) But she is not nearly as imperfect as the right wing media would have you believe. Surviving something like the Benghazi witch-hunt where all of the Republican hunters came at her with rifles blazing, and 7 million dollars later they could find no actual wrongdoing, is just one example. You can bet that given the bias and motivation of the accusers involved, if there was any substance to the charges it would have been found. This wasn't exactly a meeting of the Clinton fan club after all.

Yet just because of the accusations, many people in this country still believe she did something. She is the victim of so many unproven accusations and innuendo that gets repeated so often that "they must be true." If you go back to the results, she has been exonerated from virtually all of them. Unfortunately to those doing the accusing, that just means she's tricky enough to wiggle out of them. They would never consider that maybe, just maybe, she's actually not guilty. Fortunately for those who care, the lion's share of this information exists in the public domain, so it can be fact-checked. As the T-shirt I just happen to be wearing today says "Demand facts and think critically".

On the other hand, all of Trump's life has been spent on increasing his personal wealth, often at the expense of employees, contractors, and lenders. There is nothing in his history that would suggest that he does or will care at all about the middle class, or even anybody else in any class but himself. And, he'll probably have the White House painted gold.

Hillary wins, out in 4 years, you get Marco Rubio or Scott Walker for 8, unless she can get economic growth consistently above 3% per gdp year.

Trump wins, the Republican Party shifts to the left and he's most likely out in 4. ...I admit that it's a risk, but take in mind were dealing with the two most unpopular electoral candidates in history.

Hillary is going to be a two term POTUS. No doubt about it.

Obama's current approval rating at this point of his presidency is higher than Reagan's was at the same point.

Gas prices are way down, the stock market is up, home values continue to rise, Gitmo is slowly shutting down, and our allies feel really good about us again.

All Hillary needs to do is continue Obama's game plan. Her 4 years as Secretary of State gives her a major advantage too.
