Meh. The dude can speechify, but other than that he's about as mediocre as anyone else. If it weren't for him being black he'd be nothing but just another president in America's history.

Not true. He brought a lot more positivity in this country than any other president has done, and he's done so with humbleness and sincerity. I didn't agree with a lot of his choices, but he didn't act out in anger or sadness when people thought he would.

He did an admirable job digging us out of an economic collapse, and should be acknowledged for that at the very least. Hes an eloquent speaker but hes been an above average President with progressive ideas moving forward. I was as leery as most when he was nominated, but I can acknowledge I was wrong to judge him based on what hes done for the country.

He brought positivity for his first election because a bunch of easily influenced people bought into "Yes we can!" and the opportunity to vote for the first black president. Which really isn't due to him being a great candidate/president, rather than his supporters being swept up in the moment. Other than that he's been politics as usual.
