Basically what Lucem says. Every vote helps. Maybe they won't win, but helping an independent party have their highest voting turn out will do nothing but good for them in the future. America is just as ****ed with Hillary, you might as well support the politician you actually agree with.

Not really, it's a wasted vote when you are willingly giving up the one time you can have your voice heard over this us vs. them facade that they keep pushing election after election. How can anybody be angry over the options we have when they keep supporting the options we have?

You guys can continue to dream for a better government, but it'll never happen. Johnson lost a lot of support through his race and Jill Stein doesn't stand close to a chance. If you actually want to see difference, quit thinking you have any control over how the world turns out, and man up.
I'm surprised I am the one to say that, but again, think with your brain, not with you "im too cool to stoop to the lower level" mindset. It's embarrassing. |

"On its world, the people are people. The leaders are lizards. The people hate the lizards and the lizards rule the people."
"Odd," said Arthur, "I thought you said it was a democracy." "I did," said Ford. "It is." "So," said Arthur, hoping he wasn't sounding ridiculously obtuse, "why don't people get rid of the lizards?" "It honestly doesn't occur to them," said Ford. "They've all got the vote, so they all pretty much assume that the government they've voted in more or less approximates to the government they want." "You mean they actually vote for the lizards?" "Oh yes," said Ford with a shrug, "of course." "But," said Arthur, going for the big one again, "why?" "Because if they didn't vote for a lizard," said Ford, "the wrong lizard might get in."
