From what I read in that interview, Francis compared ISIS' interpretation of the Qur'an in setting out to conquer in the name of Islam with how some might interpret Jesus' sending out of His disciples to "conquer" the world in the name of Christ.

No where in the bible does it tell you to conquer.Its says go ye to the far corners of the world and preach the gospel . Not dominated and push people into submission.

Yeah. I know. You know. But some people don't know. Some people misinterpret the Bible. That's what the Pope is saying in this instance. Much evil--and conquest!--has been done in Jesus' Name.
