Bro, that quote was from 1984. It's the slogan for the English Socialist Party of Oceania. It sums up their intention to brainwash the populace by conditioning them to accept at the same time ideas that actually contradict one another. They'll stop thinking for themselves because the party will by then have complete control over their thoughts.
