I'm wondering why everyone in this thread is always so hung up on the Bible, though. The Bible is the deposit of Faith. It is not the end of it.

The Bible also has a law about the Year of Jubilee, but that isn't a thing for Christians, since it was specifically a Hebrew custom (an example off the top of my head).

Well, some of us have probably dealt with textualists for whom The Word is everything. So would you say you're a pluralistic then? That different cultures basically worship the same God from a different perspective or do you think Hindus and Muslims will burn in hell?
