Why didn't the lord put up some safety ****? He created such a dangerous environment, so it's his responsibility to make sure no one gets hurt, especially since he's their lord.

If God created such a dangerous environment, where even looking behind you could get you turned to salt, then maybe something more substantial than a warning was in order. He could have raised up a mountain between them and the city or some ****. Instead he just said, "Hey, dudes, don't look back," and let the chips fall where they may.

Both the lord and the Lord are being very irresponsible.

Being electrocuted is actually something that happens to people and going into a hazardous area with exposed wires is something that would be a well known and obvious danger. Looking back at a city and turning into a pillar of salt is not that at all. It's an unprecedented event with no logical connection between the action and the outcome.
