No it's not. Remembering the past to understand the present is important, but we're still living in the present, and so the Inquisition is not relevant except how it directly affects the present.

this is what i always found fascinating about christians. that they believe man in inherently evil. in islam its the opposite. man is inherently pure but is always inevitably ruined by the evils of earth and shaytan (satan) and the nafs and whatnot.
