You realize the book at the heart of your system of morality is chock full of things that would be considered sex crimes in modern society, right? And your god is oddly mum on it being wrong, right?

I agree with you. But unfortunately for the catholic priests, they don't take this seriously. They are so unable to get pussy then they end up ****ing the kids around their private homes. Raping kids is usually founded at catholic church. BTW I am a catholic and protestant. I have heard many stories about this rape culture with catholic priests.

The instruction of St. Paul in his letters is more along the lines of moral teaching. The old testament is almost all history.

The reality is that which culture in a given church focuses more on. Positive things or negative things. So that is my take on this morality code. What does a church decides to focus more on more. The positive side or negative side.
