Live and let live. Why interject yourself and say it is a circle jerk when it is two people having a personable conversation with each other? Who's closed minded now?

You see what you want to see, I'll see what I see. Who's talking down to who? I just turned 56 today. I've spent 40 years pondering religion and Christianity. Yes, I'm made up my mind. I'm allowed that at this stage of my life. Just don't tell me I haven't seen the light, or that I don't get it, or that I need to look harder or open my heart more. Or refer to me as a dog or pig because I refuse to believe your fairy tale.

Thank you man. Modwhatever (Im sorry bro I cant get itbright) and I have had what appears to be parallel roads to different versions of the same faith yet different sects of it. It was quite interesting for me as Im protestant and hes Catholic and neither one of us insulted one another or told the other person they were wrong for what they beilieved. I answered frown honestly and openly and not in a condescending manner at all. Because if I had that wouldn't have been a testimony to His glory but only a tower of babble to Roxy and I do that enough when we talk bout the government.

Let's just agree to disagree. This thread has become the bane of this sites existence. We all have our own opinions on the matter but we shouldn't let ourselves tell other people how to think, especially regarding religion. If it's not effecting your life that they believe what they believe, then what's the point in telling them they're wrong for doing so. Same goes for pretty much anything that involves people's strong opinions.
