If I see a flower in a field, and I find it to be beautiful, is that evidence that someone planted it? No. Of course not. Is the flower devalued by the fact that it exists of its own accord? No, of course not. In fact, I'd contend that making things about the nonexistent gardener rather than the flower is the very thing that devalues it. Because Bakunin and ****.

Basically, "faith is the sight of things unseen." That means if you're willing to believe, you'll be able to pick up on religious connections here and there that people who don't believe wouldn't udually get.
