Sorry about that, I was out looking at cars.

Interesting.

https://data.oecd.org/migration/fore...population.htm

My perception does jive with reality as a Canadian, but not as a Brit, which is why arguments should remain evidenced based as opposed to what I see on my driving tours to the United States. However enough to raise my eyebrow, but not enough to change my opinion, consider the following.

1) Hispanics which make up the majority of foreign born in the United States are westernized people of Catholic background.

I had already mentioned that I don't view the Hispanic population of the United States to enter into the multicultural debate because they are already westernized people of predominantly Catholic heritage.

The United Kingdom & western Europe have been taking in large amounts of immigrants from non westernized countries and the problems are beginning to show....throughout Europe with repeated sex crimes and terrorist attacks.

2)`The United Kingdom has seen a dramatic spike in the number of foreign born citizens, as mentioned under the rule of the labour party

3) Geography

United States: 9.857 million km²
United Kingdom: 243,610 km²

That is a massive difference in terms of relative space and available resources, While the United States there is available space for everyone to spread out, in the UK things are much more compacted.

and before you go pointing Canada, 80% of us are huddled along the southern border because it's so frickin cold and inhabitable in much of our country.

4) The legislative policy of multiculturalism & political correctness

As to my knowledge multiculturalism has not been legislatively implemented as official policy in the United States. Traditionally (though you've ceased enforcing it) the US has been based on the melting pot.

There is ample evidence that multiculturalism in Europe is creating segregated communities that do not assimilate, and allow for young people to be easily infiltrated by competing ideologies

Radicalised Muslims in UK more likely to be born in Britain, rich and depressed | UK Politics | News | The Independent

and that's not even going into the Human Rights Commissions which are a whole other can of worms in themselves.

No you're a right of center country, I stand by what I said, your at least a decade behind this issue in comparison to Canada & the UK.

Apologies for not proofreading, but you win an argument by bringing forth credible evidence and stats, not by knit picking at someone's vocabulary, and hurling insults.

Anyways I don't want to argue with Americans on this topic, your too far removed from it to fully comprehend the complexity of the issue. Come back to me in 10 20 years.

I would be happy to discuss American politics with you though,Trump, Clinton, Sanders, and possibly Warren?

I would have said /thread if that sentence won the debate. It's just my opinion.

As if research doesn't exist. How ****ing absurd. But how surprising is it really that someone who thinks cultures can never blend is willing to over generalize the Bible Belt to the whole US?

I have already stated that Hispanics fully assimilate into hardworking Americans who fully blend in.

but nope! nope! I'm afraid I must disengage my conversation with you Frownland, and stand by what I said. Americans are too far removed from the reality of this issue to understand its complexities.

I therefore must move on, I'm sure there are many Brits that would be kind enough to debate this issue with you, but I must respectfully decline, thank you.

Ok. But remember, you don't live in America, so you're far too removed from how far we're removed from the reality of this issue to form any opinion on it. Stick to things you know about because there's no way you can have any knowledge of America without living in it.

Uh I'm pretty sure I don't do that. Do you mean when I make fun of people for being melodramatic? I guess.

Nope, I'm afraid that doesn't work. We are talking about a specific topic in which the legislative and demographic changes are notably different. Besides I have relatives in the U.S. live two hours out of Seattle, travel their regularly as well as being your next door neighbor and biggest trading partner. More than qualified.

As I've stated though before, I'm afraid I must disengage from this topic but I'm happy to discuss American politics for you, though I doubt there would be much controversy as I have already pledged my allegiance to Hillary.
