While we debate the merits of western and arabic cultures, the poor Syrians are voting with their feet, and they are voting "West":-

when did i proudly point out anything about the gulf states???? i'm not from there and i have nothing to do with the gulf. i know ya'll think all arabs are exactly the same but we're not.

lebanon took in a lot of syrian refugees. more than a million and we're only 4 million. so theres that.

honestly i'm so sick of this and i'm sick of the internet. every single site i go on, its the same. you're all the same and you all will never understand what its like being born in a country where you don't have basic human rights. and whats even worse is *******s on the internet who try to bring you down for something thats out of your hands. what are you gonna do? protest and get killed by your government? or move to the west and be an outsider forever? i don't want any of this i just want to continue living everyday until its my time to die and thats IT. thats ALL. its simple. like ok we get it you have human rights so you're all of a sudden so superior and everybody else is trash, ya? **** you tbh and you can shove your rights up your ass. where i am, i feel like an outsider for being an atheist and for being gay. online and in the west, i feel like an outsider for being an arab. honestly where the **** do i go. i'm done here, its honestly unhealthy for me being on the internet. please disable or delete my account or whatever. i thought i liked it here but i was wrong. thanks and bye.

^ Yeah, I noticed that when I was looking for some figures to quote. I say, "Well done, Lebanon!"

Returning more to topic, there is an email petition going around requesting that HM Government make another referendum. Before everyone groans in despair at the prospect, let me mention that there is an existing rule that if a vote is one by a small margin, a re-vote can be considered. The Brexit win apparently falls into that category.

EDIT: Hey, why not hang around, ali ? In a very short time you have become a popular member here, and it's great to have someone from such an under-represented part of the world. I for one would be sorry if you left us. If you feel victimised in the political/ religious threads, why not give them a rest and enjoy the music forums ?

Dude. I'm not Japanese. It's not my Constitution. I can't even vote, even though I pay taxes here. I am taxed but have no representation. Besides, Abe has vowed to re-write the Constitution if his party gets a super-majority on election day, July 10th. Trust me; it's all a veneer.
