Lots of short-term pain, but longterm gain going forward.

Maybe, but it appears overall that Scottland has voted to remain.

If the EU gives them the green light to join, you'll have to survive another independence referendum first.

Anyways it makes it cheaper for me to visit the homeland, best of luck to you.

The market hates political tumult. The financials are going to get nailed. The Pound's down to a 30-year low. It's a massive political change that will take time to work through the system, but like anything else, it will work itself out.

Keep in mind they said the "uncharted waters" bit during the Great Recession. Most of what they did then was brand new. Some people came out better than before, some not. There's always winners and losers.

Scotland wanted to leave in 2014, which is before the Brexit. So those elements have been there for some time. It will be interesting to see how that plays out and if that means Scotland leaves the UK.

England & Wales vote to leave, Scotland and Ireland vote to stay.

Sinn Fein (the IRA) is of course already calling for a vote of Irish reunification, but the real threat is going to come from Nicola Sturgeon, trust me coming from Canada where we've lived with the threat of separatism for years, Nicola is wetting her panties in ecstasy as we speak.

True. In this case the loser will probably be the UK.

Time will tell. EU membership didn't save the Greek economy, for example. EU membership was originally to help reduce trade barriers, but it grew into something else. So we'll see.
