If the preliminary statistics are to be trusted, it looks like a "nay".

Actually, I complained about it; Man like Monkey and I exchanged a couple of amicable pms and he was decent enough to change his name to Fluffy Kittens.

A user name can turn up anywhere on MB, including the first-click front page, so it's important that they aren't offensive imo. Aren't we about welcoming new members, not scaring them off?

Not liking a name is one thing, but come one, anyone who'd leave the site cause of an off-color screen name probably isn't worth our time. You're still here, right?

Fluffy kittens is just a more subtle dirty joke.

Thanks for the compliment but I'm sure there are people on this forum better at political analysis than myself. I just try to approach political issues scientifically instead of being run by ideological sentiment.

If the data out there said that the UK would become a self sustaining economic powerhouse if it leaves, then I'd say go for it, but unless there is a ton of untapped oil in the North sea....

@Batlord: Thanks, I think...

You're welcome, William the Bloody. Some of your posts are very informative.

....and this referendum is a very close run thing; results now coming in, but Leave have a small lead so far:-

Home - BBC News

EDIT: right now the total percentages are: 49.3% for Leave, 50.7% for Remain. How close is that !?
EDIT: now Leave is back in the lead again...
