^ I've often wondered what a post like this actually means, so now seems like a good time to ask.

Ever since the famous referendum the UK has struggled with that bugbear of democracy: no clear mandate to head in one direction. It's been like four drivers fighting over the gearstick of a car, the only result being that the car stalls. At least now we may move off in a specific direction, even if, as Batlord mentions, the UK will, along the way, become the BUK - Broken Up Kingdom.

I tried to post and it didn't go through due to some time lag/technical problem. When I checked, after clicking two more times, it showed up as three posts so I just edited the two extra identical posts with a .

^ Well that's disappointing Psy-Fi!
I thought it had some specific meaning, perhaps an alternative to the once popular 'Nuff said or perhaps even, I am a freemason. Send me a PM and we can do whatever it is that freemasons do together.

Not the result I wanted but oh well, not as if I didn't see it coming and if that's what people want then so be it, we have to just get on with it now. Hopefully we can start to recover and move on.
We will almost certainly leave the EU at the end of January now, it doesn't have to affect me that much as myself and everyone in my family are dual citizens with another EU country but I do feel bad for people who voted to remain and don't have the option of retaining their EU citizenship that way, as well as very vulnerable people who rely on public services. My friend is very worried as she has complex needs and she has been talking about suicide and its upsetting. I feel bad for Jeremy Corbyn. He is a decent human being and he gave it his best shot. Not sure who I want the new leader to be tbh. It will be interesting to see how that unfolds. Time to move on now. |

You mean not as if you haven't been denying it would ever happen for years?
