Anyone watch the debate? Johnson as childish as ever, can't attack policy so attacks character instead and keeps repeating his Get Brexit Done soundbite.

Sad thing is I can still see Labour getting annihilated in a few weeks.

Boris Johnson running away from the camera into a fridge to avoid doing an interview he promised to Good Morning Britain, while his adviser swears at the camera. All live on GMB.

Journalist and Tory, Laura Kuennsberg, announcing live on BBC she's seen some postal votes and it doesn't look good for Labour.

Matt Hancock acting like a sex pest with a woman during an interview.

Boris has spent the entire campaign dodging interviews, repeating his Get Brexit Done soundbite and answering every question he's been asked with "do you want Jeremy Corbyn the TERRORIST running the country"? And people lap it up because it's lovable 'BoJo' and he's got a messy hair cut and tries to bant

It's going to be grim tomorrow night when the Tories win a majority.

OMG so true!

Actually, the biggest reason for most people, especially where I am from, for not voting for Corbyn is because of his supposed support for the IRA. But of course you wouldn't know that so you just carry on being American and making everything about race.

^ Wow! I didn't know that, Fluff. Do you think it's true? People might tolerate sympathy with Sinn Fein, but supporting the IRA is not going to win any votes.

For me Corbyn's biggest campaign mistake was not taking a clear Remain position, which would've made the election something of a second referendum. Instead, on the Brexit issue, voters have been offered a lopsided choice by the two main parties. To reflect the reality of the choice, this thread should've been re-titled:-

Brexit? Yay or Maybe, depending on what fudges are made furthur down the line

Sounds like a nationalist conspiracy theory tbh. So you're from a place like that, huh?

No its not that simple but its near enough always the one thing people will mention when Corbyn is brought up. People were livid that he came to Birmingham on the 45th anniversary of the pub bombings to announce the Labour manifesto - https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/103913...m-anniversary/ - a lot of people are still understandably very angry over the bombings especially since nobody has been held to account over it and being pictured with Adams, McGuinness etc, inviting them to meetings, condemning violence on all sides and so on, people don't like that, they want outright condemnation of the IRA.

I despise the IRA and this is not my personal opinion by the way, but if you speak to people this is nearly always the reason they will give as to why they won't vote for Labour and so are voting Tory instead. Seriously look into it mate it's really not an uncommon opinion.

If you don't want to get bombed maybe you shouldn't occupy other countries.
