If I lived in the States, I'd probably have sent my kids to a private school. But since I'm in Japan, I homeschool them.

But with the current climate of terror in the West, I'd probably still homeschool them.

I see that the media has you a little spooked. I know that it's fun to be paranoid and terrified all the time, but thinking that sending your kids to public school is a death sentence is about as irrational as keeping them inside when it's cloudy so that they don't get struck by lightning.

Well I'm gonna go out on a limb and say this was a hoax, as I haven't read about any attacks in NYC, where they didn't cancel school. Kind of was slightly worried that I might wake this morning to the news. Someone is in VERY big trouble if that email is traced to some smart kid!
