Point taken. No simple 100% effective answers. But the ACA is a step in the right direction in my opinion.

I agree in principle, but the ACA just wasn't the right step. I see reform of the private health care system to be the first step, and anything beyond that should be a further one if that doesn't work. Try to fix what is broken before you take more drastic measures.
