Yeah, because a thread about the massacre of 129 people with 352 wounded, including 99 who are in a very serious condition is nothing to be serious about and tasteless jokes, laughs and asinine comments are appropriate, right?

This is why these types of threads always devolve into idiocy at MB. There are too many immature attention seekers here who always want to hijack them and make it all about themselves with their nonsense posts.

It's not enjoyable, and it certainly wasn't beneficial to the discussion. It's a music forum, so I'm not expecting high intellectual discourse. Indeed. I've questioned coming here due to this thread. I know it's only a forum, only opinions, words on a screen, nothing serious, and I agree, but ugly displays make it a less enjoyable place to be. I come here to share and discover music and have a little fun. What went on in this thread makes it less fun and surely drives/keeps people away. I don't expect public displays of compassion from everyone over every little thing but a little humanity isn't too much to ask.

Whoa dude, take it easy..

Ki, Batlord & Jwb aren't losers they just made a couple of jokes that didn't go over well, I know their jokes were perceived as distasteful but if you know them a bit, you know they're not bad ppl. I agree that the mods handled this well but i don't see the need to keep on shaming them.

I mean, seeing Batlord's half assed apology was frickin painful to read cause imo he didn't need to do that, it was a joke! But it seems now ppl here are more interested in making it a moral issue just to create more forum drama that has little to do with the subject of the thread.
