Thats messed up.Ordered to stay there until she changes her mind? No 6 moths for breaking the law, but she doesn't have to change her opinions those are her's thats the first step to tyranny ordering her to change her mind. Im going to have to sober up and make sure I read that right.

Her opinions are her opinions, sure. But her rights end when someone else's begins. And the SCOTUS has ruled that marriage equality is the law of the land and it's everyone's right. Sending her to jail until she complies is one thing. Until her opinions change is another thing entirely.

Dude is there an echo in here? I just said that. If she was trying to make a statement she could have not given it out cos she quit. Regardless job is a job and you do your job or you quit. But its asinie for her to be ordered she sit there til she changes her mind on gay marriage. Dude equal treatment under the law goes for bigots too. Not protecting her right to be a bigot and jailing her for her opinons is equally as bad as what she did in the first ****ing place. I see two wrongs and no right.

Maybe you DO need to sober up and calm down a little bit. I was agreeing with you. Locking her up for x amount for breaking the law is one thing. Locking her up indefinitely until she changes her opinions is s completely separate issue.

I am calm, square Im just wondering what the **** we in agreeance are discussing, bring on the morons with opposing views.

That I don't overtly think she deserves to be locked up, and definitely not until she changes her opinions because that will probably be never. You're right, the law should apply equally to everyone. Even bigots.

The Batlord 09-03-2015 06:06 PM

I thought she was only being locked up until she agrees to issue marriage licenses.
