Is Uncle Kip from your mom's side or your dad's?

Koppel kills O'Reilly.

I went and watched the longer clip. Man, the stuff Koppel is saying is exactly dead on.

So this is what a full on civil war looks like in the Republican Party. Class war really, (The rich) versus (working class) who Trump as tapped into.

The whole Trump thing is really becoming a depressing three ring circus though.

His followers are so insulated they actually think he has a chance of winning, but who in their right mind would give this egomaniac the keys to the whitehouse.

I confess I was quite enamoured when he first came on the scene but then one weird sexist or bigoted statement after another, than another, and another...the man is a fool.

Unless the FBI investigation comes down on Hillary, she will be the next President of the United States!

The Republican establishment will wait it out 5 years for the populism to peter out and then retool

I think this is sort of the logical conclusion of the whole New Media/Tea Party phenomenon of the last two decades. Demagogues like Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, and Fox News slowly mobilized and pseudo-radicalized an entire segment of America's population, turning them into an unthinking, right-wing, shouting machine.

And now the situation has become so advanced that they're willing to throw their fanatical, terrifying support behind the guy from The Apprentice, so long as he says the things they want him to say.

People were disgusted by Limbaugh, they were disgusted and alarmed when his viewpoints had become so embraced by so many that an entire news channel sprang up around them, and every time the conservative stakes are raised (with the Tea Party and now Donald Trump) more and more people recoil. As scary as some of this **** is, the Republican party is making itself a pariah more and more every year, so I don't really see any long-term threat from these people.

Agreed, I think Fox News created a monster by supporting Trump as someone who could become a blue collar hero and beat Hillary, initially guys like O Reilly and Hannity were pro Trump big time, but I think even now there realizing this guy doesn't have all his marbles upstairs.
