When I made my post, I knew that this wasn't an all white board, I wan't trying to talk around anyone. I talk the same way about whites and white privelege (I think I even did so in my post in this thead). I don't see any reason to personally address people, rather I would hope they would join the discussion if they have something to contribute and I'm glad you decided to contribute because it at least opens a dialog.

This is kind of how I feel too. I mean, are we supposed to say sorry to a bunch of people who aren't in the conversation? It seems a little disingenuous of Roxy to be tarring us all with one brush when she must know we don't all operate that way. I'm still waiting for a response. I actually feel a little insulted that someone who knows me would make this sort of comment about me, or include me in the comment as if we're all just on a high horse saying what should be done and how terrible it is, without meaning any of what we say.

Does anyone have any further information as to how this is being investigated? From what I saw in the clip, the woman was a feisty, come-at-me sort who was more than ready to fight her corner in court, and did not seem at all like the sort who would take her own life. Are they still treating it as suicide? Has that been accepted as the cause of death, or is there an investigation going on into it?
