But seriously, I am open-minded to the possibility of life out there; I think it's worth keeping an ear out in space. But I still think it's a long shot. We've seen a LOT of planets out there and only one has contained life (Earth). Certainly our own existence is proof that its possible, but it's also an improbable event.
