I knew Neil would show up. He's usually great at explaining the hard to explain.
For me, yeah, I don't know. I mean, all logic says that the universe is so big that we can't ever comprehend it. This planet was made out of the same atoms and particles that exist in the rest of space. There are even dark areas of space that have different forms of matter that we can't begin to understand. Yet, I can't say for a fact that there is so I remain neutral. I'd be willing to bet there is though. |
Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson went out camping. They pitched their tent, then went to sleep.
In the middle of the night, Holmes woke up Watson. "Watson, take a look up at the sky and tell me what you can deduce." "Well, Holmes, with all those stars and planets, the universe is virtually endless. Therefore, it's quite possible that there is life on one of those planets. And perhaps, in a few centuries, we will have the technology to contact those aliens. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside." Spoiler for Holmes' reply:
