My bad. You were replying to the actual OP and not my post. Sorry.

nah dude guns aren't the problem
obama should just convert gitmo to a laogai-like* forced labor camp, and send anyone with anti-american or pro-radical-islam sentiments there in order to reform them by labor. * https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laogai have them mass produce something pro-american, such as the american flag or bald eagle shirts, until they come out a few years later as enthusiastically patriotic american citizens. and in the meantime use their labor in order to help us finally compete with the chinese in terms of providing companies with the invaluable commodity of dirt-cheap labor |

One thing I hate about these incidents is the victims are forgotten, because in the debates taht follow everything else becomes the focus of attention. Maybe that is how conversations branch off into off topic issues. But still I think that stuff should be ignored and the main concern should be for the Marines and Navy sailor. If there is anything one can take away from this story it should be how U.S. Navy Petty Officer Randall Smith warned people to get away before he was shot. That the last thing he did (before he died of gun shot wounds) was show concern for others.
