I love Bernie Sanders...
Still watching the video.. I don't get into politics but this guy seems aight. Edit: So what are the bad things about this guy? Everything in this video seems legit. Edit2: Okay, video finished. Still like everything he said, I just don't know enough about how the government functions to know if he does get elected if he can actually do the things he would like. For instance, getting money out of the super wealthy with offshore tax free bank accounts and significantly reduced college costs/debt.

I don't go in for that whole I'm a liberal/conservative nonsense, I think that's weak. (not saying you do) I'm for what's best for the blue collar worker & the economy, and at present I think Trump is one, Hillary 2, and allthough I think the Bush family doesn't deserve the trust of the American people, Jeb three. (though none of this matters because I'm Canadian) I love Bernie for his stance against wallstreet and their tax/offshoring loopholes, but the American economy needs a jumpstart right now, and the Democratic window for a Krugman like stimulus closed with the loss of the senate & HOR. Anyways when your in recession were in recession, your the leaders of the western world so lead! |

Well you see there you go, the whole left wing right wing bull$hit again.
If it came down between Bush and Clinton I can't understand why anyone would vote Bush? There economic policies are virtually the same: They will both: sign free trade deals that will ship American jobs overseas. not close tax loopholes for major American corporations. continue with record high immigration that's placed downward pressure on blue collar wages & upward pressure on rental/property prices (in big cities) continue carrying on record high trade deficits Unless your a social conservative holding out for Roe vs Wade to be overhauled the only difference between Hillary & jeb is this... Bill Clinton's GDP growth numbers were better than both Bush's Bill Clinton ran consecutive surplus budgets, both Bush's ran consecutive deficits Bill Clinton ran the social security trust fund better, both George & Jeb want to privatize it. Bill Clinton was a peace time President, both Bush's were war time Presidents, do you want to place your bets on a third. Woah! I'm in full on political mode here, this is fun, I should join a political forum, sorry JWB |

JWB is a flaming misogynist. I can't recall a single pro woman post he's made here. Even in the Snog, Shag, or Marry thread.
If he even remotely liked girls he'd have been on the Hillary bandwagon months ago.

Clinton still sent troops into Kosovo and bombed the **** out of Iraq for years. I wouldn't exactly call him a peacetime president.
