I don't support Hillary, either, but Bernie kept dragging it out for far too long when it was obvious he could only win in a contested convention, and even then, the DNC would still be hesitant to hand him the nomination.

I don't think he was staying in the race to win it, I think he was staying in the race to keep nudging the conversation on the democratic side toward the issues he considers most important.

Which is admirable, but it also didn't help that a huge swath of his supporters still want Hillary to step down and hand the nomination to him, even though she's leading him by three million votes.

The best that Sanders can hope for is that Hillary's feet are held to the fire by his supporters.
