Kennedy does not own the Bay Of Pigs. in 1960 Eisenhower allocated 13 million the to the CIA to layout the plan of attack. Its all written in stone. Was Kennedy supposed to throw away the entire plan of operation dating back years and all of the allocated funds?

Check out the chart on the right. Underneath the section labeled commanders, whose name is listed? If history is going to credit Reagan for the release of the 52 Iranian hostages, even though Carter did all of the work, then Kennedy takes the fall for The Bay of Pigs. He did, afterall, oversee the original ground troops plan, the changes to it, and then approved the final plan that failed.
