My first clear memory. Sitting in my grandmothers living room and all of the family was there all sad and dressed in formal black watching the funeral on B&W TV. I remember wondering about the horse with the backwards boots.

Actually you are wrong about the Bay Of Pigs. The order was already set in stone by the Eisenhower administration. It was basically there for the signing when Kennedy took office, not sure what you are on about.
