ugh. I actually clicked on that article innerspaceboy posted about the tax loophole thing and it was such a waste of time. So poorly ****ing written. Other amazing articles on that site include:“Realistic” Chance Americans Could Find out Truth About 9/11 by June of 2016.

I didn't even realize being a troofer was still a thing. ****ing tinfoil hat *******.

Well, if Marxism is your thing:

Basically, the author is suggesting that there will be a series of dramatic technological innovations. These will result in a correspondingly dramatic change in the "base", that is people's relationship to production. These changes will then necessitate changes to the superstructure. The changes in the base and superstructure will result in dialectal changes. These changes will then put us on the road to socialism, and from there communism.

I feel it's bull**** because the author drastically overstated where we are as a society. It's unrealistic to expect liberating technologies to come about where we are a society that is still dominated by the sort of crass racism that has been so prevalent in this thread - where supporters of a self-proclaimed sociaist get upset because said socialist's speech was interrupted to discuss.... racism. Lol. The contradictions, they abound.

The base doesn't need to be legitlmated.

I formed that opinion through the typo in the graphic. I'm not here to say anything meaningful, don't mind me.

So, really, what we've had mostly for too long a time are center-right Republicans
vs extremist Republicans. Ike and Nixon would be considered "lefties" these days.
I don't think this has as much to do with ideology as much as greed and corruption.
