People who like accuracy? I seriously don't understand your reasoning. At first I thought this was gonna be one of those agnostic things, where the person doesn't like the connotations of "atheist", but now you just sound like some paranoid conspiracy person.
"Don't call yourself an atheist!" "Why?" "Because of Them." "Who's 'Them'?" "The Believers." "..."

you know, you already know what it's like to be an atheist for most of the gods in mythology. do you believe in zues apollo, krishna, isis, thor, etc? no? then you already know what it's like to be an atheist. we just take it one step further

Yeah I don't like the term atheist either. I'm an atheist in the sense that I believe god is a manmade conceptualization meant to cope with the fear of the unknown. But I also believe that humanity as a whole is very naive and that we really have no idea what any of this mean. I think the idea of death = nothingness forever is equally far fetched. I don't like the the label atheist because of the implications that go with it.
