Okay well it seemed like you were upset, and it also seemed like you came here desperate to find something wrong with what somebody was saying even though 99% of the thread has been nothing but love, joy, and support. At least I think so, there are ~8 pages I haven't read. It's like going to a gay pride parade and trying to exclude everyone that's not gay. I don't get it, just be glad that they're happy for you and want for you to be able to live comfortably without fear of judgment or discrimination. Not that this ruling will end those things, but we're getting closer and closer to how the world should be.

I'm done reiterating myself and quoting myself. That's not what I was saying at all, but what can I expect from a psychology major who goes around internet forums asserting haphazard mental illness diagnoses with no evidence based on brief encounters. It was my mistake for assuming any of you would be even remotely capable of understanding my point of view. I'll avoid any type of commentary that requires any degree of critical thinking whatsoever from now on.

So ****ing hilarious that I actually have to educate a psych major on trauma. I'm done lol. You did misinterpret me. Everyone did. You can pretend that you didn't, but your post clearly tells me that you did, so there.

It has nothing to do with sides or judgement or exclusion. I wasn't mad. I got mad the second I was called a mentally ill, ungrateful heterophobe. It was my mistake, and immature on my part for actually allowing people that ****ing stupid to get under my skin. I should really know better, but I won't make the same mistake again.

it sounds like you were basically saying don't bring up homophobic comments that relate to the thread topic cause it triggers you...

which to me sounds like you want the thread about gay marriage being passed to be a safe space consisting strictly of nice messages instead of a current events thread discussing politics

so i think you're in the wrong thread my friend

lol

just stop dude.

The problem is none of you are reading what I'm actually saying and assuming what you think I meant, probably because you don't understand what i said in the first place. Maybe I was too verbose.

Or maybe you're too busy throwing asterisks around to properly explain your point.

I still perceive black and white thinking here, the alternative would most likely have been to leave it to the states.

If a numerous majority didn't support it, it would have never reached scotus, the police would have beat it out of the complainants.

Agreed. People can't just be happy with the decision that was made.
