and then you'd probably dismiss that as a silly distraction from the real issue. well, if you dismissed man on toaster love then you might have actually been guilty of being ignorant/insensitive/triggering to the newest addition to the human sexual spectrum: objectum sexuals.




long story short: this broad was caught getting freaky with her drum set at age 14.. then she fell in love with a bridge till age 17 when it collapsed in front of her, and to her it was like watching her boyfriend be murdered. so then this broad goes and gets in bed with her bow, and then she takes a liking to the berlin wall, and then finally gets married to the eiffel tower.

and btw according to tv experts this isn't some perverse result of sexual trauma or something like that... it's an actual orientation. so if any of you bigots out there have a problem with a woman grinding her ass on the eiffel tower or a man pledging his love to his volkswagen beetle, then you're just being ignorant and you should probably check your privilege son cause these people didn't choose this path they were just born object-loving freaks.

Hey I'm not ignorant I'm aware of it. I'm cool with it going on, much like bronies and whateverthefwck they do. I'm not going to say it's not weird that someone really wants to **** a bridge though. I doubt I'd say that to their face if they told me "I married the Eiffel tower". They would most likely get a nod and a "mmhhmm, interesting" and the conversation will be rather short unless they want to talk about something else.

seriously though science says this is just as legit as gay people, and the supreme court just signed off on gay people, so in a way this woman's marriage with the eiffel tower should have some legal precedent for recognition

what are the arguments against it? an object can't consent? to the objectum sexual they can. which is the only realm in which they are given any agency

beyond that what is there... the fact that there's only like 40 of them? does being a small enough minority mean you should be excluded from the rights enjoyed by others in society?

I think we're avoiding the elephant in the room (NO DON'T!) --- if the tower, bridge, Vokswagen or other inanimate object did not consent to the liaison was it then Object Rape? :laughing: Surely a more important question?

I'm guessing that we need to ask these questions and establish legal precedents on the topic of sex/marriage with objects so that society can jump through as few hoops as possible once sex bots are invented.

^that's a self defeating argument, because the only reason 'consent' is considered an issue regarding human relations is because humans have autonomy and so without consent you can do something to a human against their will

if your argument is that objects have no autonomy and thus can't consent, then it's a non-issue because consent is only a priority for entities that have a will for you to violate. no autonomy = no consent, no problemo

further, part of the condition/orientation known as objectum sexuality is that people who have this orientation believe they do experience feedback given to them from their objects. the lady in question had the bow grow cold to her and break her heart. so in the realm of objectum sexuals, objects, can and do consent to the relationship, though how and whether they do so is only known to the objectum sexual them self.

so you can cast your aspersions to the credibility of the experiences of these individuals, but as best psychologists can tell they are genuine and born with this orientation, so in doing so you are basically just picking on the little guy, kicking the cripple when he's down, objectum-bashing, etc. which is pretty reprehensible for people who consider themselves open minded and progressive towards alternative lifestyles.
