You can hardly blame this on the people who voted against this happening.

I'm all for offering whatever help we can as a country, but let it be known that living in Canada is a privilege, not a consolation prize, and there's a lot of emotional baggage that needs to be left outside our door.

I was joking - but in saying that I do find it rather funny that all these people waited until after the election to decide to "leave." Is living in an America under Hillary really that much better? Even if many of them do decide to head north, I would assume it would be a short term plan and they would be back in the US within a few years.
